I have been petsitting for a little over 14 years.

I love animals of all sizes and species (yes, even some scaly friends)!

I am insured through Pet Care Insurance.

At AshBug's Critter Care, you're getting quality, loving, and compassionate care for your furry—and not-so-furry—family members. Because let's be honest... they're more than pets; they're family. My goal is to provide the same love, attention, and peace of mind that I would want for my own animals while you're away. And yes... that absolutely includes daily cuddle puddles!

Every pet and every household has different needs. Visits can be as simple as stopping by to feed your cat, refresh water, and scoop the litter box, or as involved as overnight stays in a multi-pet home or extended care for pets with separation anxiety who need several consecutive hours of companionship.

My pricing is designed to be fair, transparent, and competitive with other professional pet sitters in the areas I serve. While you may find lower-priced options, my rates reflect not only the time spent caring for your pets, but also 14 years of hands-on experience, professional pet-sitter insurance, reliability, and personalized care tailored to your pets' individual needs. There are no hidden fees—I'll always discuss pricing with you upfront so you know exactly what to expect.

My primary service area includes King and Queen, King William, and Essex counties. I may also accept clients outside those areas on a case-by-case basis.

Services Offered

~ Drop-In Visits: about 30 to 45 mins to check on your pet(s). This would include walking or letting outside for potty breaks. Feeding, watering, and/or medication administration. Play time and interaction.

~ Overnight Stay In Clients Home: staying overnight in your home to make sure your pet is comfortable and stays on their normal routine.

~ Extended Care Visits: This would be longer than just a typical drop-in visit. These visits give your pet the extra time, attention, and love they need and deserve while you are out. Pricing for this is based on consecutive hours.

~~ I do offer medication administration. We would just need to go over specific details and medication schedule.

~~ I do offer care for exotic pets as well. I would just meet the animal first and determine comfortability before committing. I do have experience pet-sitting bearded dragons, hermit crabs, geckos, and fish.

~~ Same goes for farm animals. I would meet them and determine comfortability. I do have experience pet-sitting chickens, goats, rabbits, and horses.

How Does Ashley Access My Home?

Upon booking and confirmation, we would discuss a time to come to your home, meet your pet, get the lay of the land, and discuss entry options. Before your first booking, we'll schedule a complimentary meet-and-greet so I can get to know you and your pets, learn their routine, answer your questions, and make sure everyone is comfortable before care begins. This way we are on the same page and expectations are met.

Will I Receive Updates Regarding My Pet?

Yes!! I will send you texts and pictures as often as you would like.

Do You Offer Boarding Services?

No. Unfortunatley I do not offer boarding in my home. I have pets of my own that would not be super happy with me bringing other fur babies into their space. And I have found that keeping your pet in its environment helps them to stay comfortable and feel safe.

How Far In Advance Should I Book?

Advanced booking is HIGHLY recommended! You can book as far in advance as you'd like. The summer months do fill up rather quickly.

Like stated above, I do work a full time job in a medical office, so I am working around those hours as well which means I am unavailble during the day time hours.

What If I Need To Cancel & What Is Your Payment Policy?

~ I currently do not have a cancellation policy. Life happens! I am very flexible and understand when things come up. I will say that multiple cancellations from the same client may result in me deciding that I will no longer be able to provide pet-sitting services for you.

~ My payment policy is currently to accept payment after services are rendered. However, for extended stays of a week or more, I would ask for 40% up front.

~Payment methods: Venmo, cash or check, and Apple Pay.
